Ditlamelo Benefit Consulting is officially registered as a Close Corporation by founder Mr. Naledi Phahlane, bringing his years of pension fund expertise and experience from leading firms like Alexandra Forbes and Glenrand MIB into a people-focused business model.
Ms. Itumeleng (Tumi) Khumalo joins the company, bringing valuable communication and insurance experience from organisations like Old Mutual and Square One Solutions. Her addition strengthens Ditlamelo’s focus on client service and operational growth.
After the passing of Mr. Phahlane, the company transitions into a new chapter. Mrs. Dipuo Tshikalange and Ms. Itumeleng Khumalo officially become Directors, marking a bold shift to 100% female-led leadership. The company broadens its services to include Credit Wellness alongside Pension and Funeral Benefits.

Currently completing her Diploma in Marketing with IMM School of Marketing, she also holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) — showcasing her drive for growth and innovation.
She becomes a key team member, bringing her extensive business insight and marketing knowledge into the organization.
Her commitment and impact lead to her appointment as a Director, where she now helps lead Ditlamelo Benefit Consulting with a focus on service delivery and brand development.
Mrs. Khumalo builds her expertise in client service and communications while working with companies like Square One Solutions, Old Mutual, and other notable organizations.
Bringing her diverse professional background, she joins the company to contribute her skills in communication, client relations, and benefit consulting.
Earned a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of South Africa (UNISA), enhancing her communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science at UNISA, majoring in Communications — reinforcing her leadership, strategy, and communication capabilities.
Recognized for her dedication and leadership, she is officially appointed as a Director of Ditlamelo Benefit Consulting, playing a key role in shaping the company’s growth and service excellence.
